Yearly Events
Drug Awareness
Drug Awarenss Committee
These events vary year to year, but whether it's showing up as Elroy the Elk at a kids event, or handing out drug awareness material at the fair, we hold events or functions designed to make kids aware of the dangers of drugs, and how to live a drug-free life.

We award scholarships to deserving students every year, as does our Ladies Auxiliary. More information can be found here.
Carnival Ball
Carnival Ball Committee
Although we are not a Krewe we hold a Carnival Ball every year for our members and guests. In Elks fashion the ball is formal, but very fun. It is an event that many look forward to every year with beautiful decorations, and a very entertaining ceremony.
Old Timer's Night
Elks that have been members for 25 or more years are affectionately called Old Timers. They are the foundation and underpinnings of our Lodge, and much of the reason we are here today, so we gather to enjoy a meal and hear some of their fantastic stories of Elkdom throughout the years.
Classic Car Show
Car Show Committtee
Our classic car show has grown in popularity every year. Classic cars from all across the coast gather to be seen and judged. We always have an assortment of door prizes as well as awards, food, fun and music.
Mother & Father's Day Banquet
We decided that instead of having celebrations on Mother's and Father's day where people likely already have plans, we would have a combined banquet that all Mother's and Father's could come to and enjoy with their family.
Crawfish Boil
Entertainment Committee
Crayfish, Crawdads, or Mudgbugs, no matter what you call them Crawfish is a staple of gulf coast living. Every year we boil up thousands of pounds of Crawfish for a rip-roaring good time for our members and guests.
Shrimp Boil
Entertainment Committee
No summer would be complete without a good ole-fashioned Shrimp Boil. We gather for food and fun every year to eat some great Shrimp. We like to say that you'll leave here with a Shrimp-eatin' grin.
Veterans Fair
Veterans Committee
Every year we bring Veterans out to the Jackson County Fair to have a good old time, we treat them fun and food. It's a fun excursion from the hospital that they enjoy and look forward to.

Americanism Essay Contest
Americanism Committee
Every year we hold an essay contest for students whose focus is on Americanism.
Breakfast with Santa
Every year we invite people to join us for our Breakfast with Santa. A great time where we serve breakfast, and then invite the children to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and take pictures with him. We have games for the Children to enjoy as well.
Widow Fruit Bowls
Members
Around Christmas time every year we deliver fruit baskets to the widows of Member's who have passed away. It's our way of showing that Elks are never forgotten.
Memorial Service
Officers
This is a solemn and special ceremony where we gather to honor and remember those members who have passed. It is heart felt reminder that Elks are never forgotten.
Christmas Baskets
Every year we supply food and toys to needy families in our community. Members submit applications for these needy families. The Elks members contribute to this cause by bringing canned goods, toys and money to help families in need in our area.
